Rev. Prof. Quarshie is the current Rector of Akrofi-Christaller Institute of Theology, Mission, and Culture (ACI), a post-graduate theological institution which runs MA, MTh and PhD programmes which in 2006 became one of the first three private universities in Ghana to be granted a Presidential Charter to award their own degrees.  

Rev. Prof. Quarshie holds a PhD in New Testament Studies from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey, USA and has over twenty years teaching experience from the Department for the Study of Religions of the University of Ghana - where he headed on two (2) occasions.  In addition, he has to his credit experience as part-time lecturer and examiner of several educational institutions in Ghana, South Africa and the USA. 

A minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana since 1976, Rev. Prof. Quarshie has served and continues to serve the church in different capacities included but not limited to several Committees, Councils and Boards, both local and international. Currently, he is a member of the Council of the Bible Society of Ghana, the National Accreditation Board of the Ministry of Education and the Board of Directors of GAP Microfinance Limited. He is also the current President of the Ghana Association of Private Tertiary Institutions; Chairman, Board of Governors, Ga Presbytery School of Ministry; and Chairman, Board of Governors, La Community Bank/La Mansaamo Kpee (La Town Development Association) Education Scholarship Scheme. 

Rev. Prof. Quarshie, a retired Human Resource practitioner with several publications to his credit is married to Adina and they have two grown up children and four grandchildren. 

His character, calm confidence and competence garnered over the years will be tapped into to lead the AI Energy Group on its trajectory to becoming a renowned and remarkable player in the upstream, midstream, and downstream operations in Ghana’s oil and gas industry
